Somehow I find it cultish, and I feel like I am obliged to do stuff to prove myself I'm an SDA. Actually, I prefer doing nature walks or reading a book during AY. I want to do things that make me relax on a sabbath. I believe it helps me become better than sitting and doing bible drills and guessing songs during song drills. Since I am a full-time mom, my challenges are more on personal and career growth. I feel insecure since I don't have work. My husband provides everything I need, but I want to be self-fulfilled. Can we have a church gathering for half a day? Or maybe not every sabbath? It's too tiring. Or maybe we can have different activities on the sabbath? Not only sitting on a bench but standing up to sing, kneel and sit. And repeat. To be more accommodating. And have more programs like nature walks and sharing of readings (not EGW). Topics not related to the second coming and last day events No No No I want to have a dialogue about sharing life's challenges and giving realistic advice rather than hearing "pray it over. " No

The programs are the SAME PROGRAM back when I was young with no sense of excitement and innovation. My previous church in Manila is way better than here—so cold, so boring, so superficial. Balancing between my spirituality and work is really a challenge eap when you work with people who will test not just your patience but your whole being. Revamp the way the AY is handled. It’s not just camping, playing and fun. Something that offers value in life! The programs are too immature that laughing with them is extremely awkward. And let the Union/ Conference directors sit and listen to outside views. They shouldn’t silence those with divergent views, rather accommodate and let them be heard. And if they find it useful, change the set up. Most of them settle for STATUS QUO. AY should have more outreach programs and valuable enriching programs for YP. Outreach gives us sense of community value, while enriching programs strengthen our faith despite being in the “outside world”. They could also empower us by giving us some youths to handle. I’ve seen active youth abroad and to my curiosity I asked what they are. They said they’re young nurses, medtech, Doctors and other med professionals trained as AOY. They handle other youth and found fulfillment in guiding the younger generations. It gives them the sense of responsibility to keep themselves closer to God because they are leading other youths. It’s like each of them handle 5-7 youth each pair. I dunno much but it was good. Also, I hope they go away with the “concert” in the afternoon where singers showcase their talent in a worldly way. I have felt God in a Baptist congregation than in that church. They are for show off—feeling celebrities. They don’t go around shaking hands of people. Totally different from what I attended in a Baptist community. There is a sense of belongingness RIGHT AWAY. In our Church, so bland. Exhaustion from work. There are times when I just feel physically weak from the daily tasks that I have that makes me feel tired of going to church. 1. Provide leadership training 2. Youth convention that provides INTERACTIVE lectures/training on personal identity development and faith maturity, etc. 3. Incorporate young adult's segment in every Sabbath's AY program 4. Mentorship Programs for finances, Career and personal growth to make sure that young adults continue to grow in Christ 5. Initiate social gatherings for creative expression to empower young adults according to their abilities and talents 1. Some ministers needs to improve their abilities in dealing with the young adults and other sets of generations. 2. Lecture style must be changed into something interactive, hearing more from the audience to hear their struggles in the church rather than just feeding them with do's and don'ts, and ideas to do in the ministry that are sometimes giving the young adults difficulties to execute, etc. Somewhat Somewhat Somewhat 1. Leadership Training 2. Mindset and Attitude that a Young Christian Should Possess 3. Personal Identity and Christian Standards Alignment 4. Strengthening of Faith 5. Transitions of Roles in the Ministry 6. Navigating Relationship with Brethren from Different Stages 7. Financial Literacy 8. Integrating Faith and Work 9. How Can a Young Adult Get Involve in the Ministry 10. Empowering Young Adults to develop decision-making skills and other life skills. Somewhat

I did not mean to say NO that it does not at all, it is just I have deeper curiosity and wanted to know things which I only learn through lectures online (non-Filipinos) . Financial Balance, Cultural & Traditional Influence when it comes to health. The Boredom in our local churches, though God helped me motivate when some churches asked me to give lectures, because I feel like if I turned it down it is like turning off God and I think always maybe God might have something to say either to me or to them, and in most cases it would be both. IDK as for me, whatever they do, I'm into it. I don't think much about myself being cared for, I am more concerned on how can I be a part or be used by God to others who are drifting and deceived. Not the discouraged ones, but the ones who are active but not aware. Like this one - a survey, result and how to address. And maybe like anything that would change the usual 3PM time, like into 1PM to accommodate all walks or classes from children to adult - in participating. Somewhat Somewhat No This one is difficult esp we have personal preferences. Me and END TIME, Present Truth is somehow motivating Broader Health discussed in many podcasts like Andrew Huberman, and some Neuroscientists. No

The challenges are: first, I can’t relate to the younger ones because my mindset is not the same to them anymore, second, I can’t feel the belongingness, third, most of my “age bracket” are having there own family so I am the one who left behind, my point here is I have no age bracket member so I don’t have peers. Even though we are at church to worship God, but we can’t denied the fact that we need peers also to ignite us. By making a program that suitable for the needs. I think the Adventist Church and AY program must make a program that are suitable for all ages, and it must be practical since we are living in the real world fighting sins every seconds of our lives (that’s the reality). Somewhat No Somewhat Topics about: how to live a life well in real world with a connection of God of course, how to prepare in Marriage, how to be faithful to God and to your partner practically, how to handle business with the help of God, how to be a good parents, how to train up a child in accordance to the Lord, how to cope up in the real world, but still bringing the light of God, how to neglect bad companionship, how to be friendly inside the church, for everyone not to feel left behind instead they will feel belongingness, how to be Christ like character practically (character development), how to choose a good partner, and how to put God in the center of relationship. I know some of these are in the book of EGW, but still different if we discuss it inside the church. Somewhat

There are some young people playing online games during Sabbath school and Divine services and during AY program. Sometimes I feel bored specially we are living in a remote area. We are just visited by pastors during collecting tithes or special occasions like thanksgiving. Other than that we are feel abandoned by our district pastor. As for me I would like to ask for a junior pastors to assists our young people and I think it would be very helpful for them to have to entrust their burdens and worries rather than posting on Social media. If I would be the pastor I like bring the youth in an occasion like hiking or nature study so that our youth can appreciate the beauty of God's creation. Somewhat Somewhat Somewhat I would like there's someone would teach them the dangerous effect of SocMed, online gaming and posting their problems on SocMed rather than to go to the Elders or Pastors for some advices. Busyness in work. Listen and target our needs. Do we need a prayer buddy? Do we need an outlet to share our weekly spiritual experiences? Activities that make us look forward to the next week and at the same time being mindful to God's blessings throughout the week. In that way, we'll be so busy counting His blessings instead of being engulfed by the busyness Meet us where we are. Please, let not the in-between Sabbath School and Divine Service be a time for business meeting and the time tackling about money. For me, it hinders the holiness of the Sabbath, but instead, it makes it a time to think of church obligations. Conduct more Bible studies, have more pastors and district leaders. Train the youth especially the youth leaders, have frequent Bible studies even among the church faithfuls, and others. No No Somewhat Outdoors activities with free amenities and foods without judging someone's status, gender, and character is my suggestion. Somewhat

For me, the messages in our church are too focused on the Second Coming, and it sometimes scares me. It gives me anxiety and makes me panic, so when the message is about this topic, I avoid listening to prevent feeling anxious. Sometimes, I wonder if my lack of devotion to God is the reason why my plans keep failing. I question whether I made the right choices, thinking that perhaps the outcome would have been different if I had chosen the opposite path. There are moments when I even find myself wondering if doing the wrong thing would have led to success. Make the AY department more active by introducing a variety of engaging activities. Avoid focusing too much on giving sermons or turning every session into a sermon. Instead, provide practical guidance and training on how to effectively handle and lead a program. This will encourage participation, creativity, and enthusiasm among the youth. Provide a well-structured seminar to encourage youth engagement in the church. The seminar should offer practical strategies for getting involved, building confidence, and discovering personal talents for ministry. Additionally, create a tailored guide specifically designed for shy or introverted individuals, focusing on steps to help them feel comfortable, valued, and included. Emphasize creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong and can contribute meaningfully, regardless of their personality type. Somewhat No No Mental Health Awareness Balancing Faith and Career Peer Pressure and Decision-Making Healthy Relationships Social Media and Digital Well-being Environmental Stewardship Community Service and Outreach Handling Failure and Disappointments .
