Weekly meet ups "Kumustahay" session — a practice we do every night during our worship time. Give a highlight of what happened during the day.

Listen and target our needs. Do we need a prayer buddy? Do we need an outlet to share our weekly spiritual experiences? Activities that make us look forward to the next week and at the same time being mindful to God's blessings throughout the week. In that way, we'll be so busy counting His blessings instead of being engulfed by the busyness

Again, routine programs. Our lives have already evolved yet our programs haven't. It's still tailored to what is used to "before"

With lack of exposure and socialization with people my age, I have no outlet of my spiritual struggle. I stopped attending afternoon services, I chose to spend my sabbath afternoons in the home.

It doesn't have to be some grand activity, just having some coffee with people my age who understands what I go through is enough.

The church should be open to diverse ways in reaching out professionals.

I hope the church create new ways or programs on how to spend the AY. Bible games and routinary activities is getting behindi the times already. The quarter aged people needs more.

The lack of united prayer in churches. The adventist culture of labeling people. The false bearing witness of many even pastor unfortunately. Labelling people as liberal or conservative or offshoots before actually knowing them and knowing there journey. I personally have known people who were accused as liberal, conservative and shoots but when I come to know them they were not. They were just growing in their relationship with Jesus. This hasty labeling of people must stop. The church also must get out of our adventist bubble. Let young people go out and minister to the community literally not jsut during crusades but making service to the Community a lifestyle.

Leaders should learn to listen without judgement and not easily label people. Make it personal and not program centered. Disciple them instead ofnjust having programs.

Honestly I discipled myself because no one discipled me. I have to grapple to know God for myself and His love because adventist prevailing culture is mechanical and program centered. Just filling the Sabbath Hours with programs and not really rquipping young people to know God and have a personal relationship with Him. No one showed me before what a personal relationship with Jesus looks like and even How to pray. Praise God for His mercy He lead me to know him through reading the Spirit of Prophecy, hearing Pastor Pavel Goia, attending PYC and finally having friends who seek Jesus too. How I wish someone discipled me. Just because I grew up in an adventist home and studied in an adventist school did not equip me yo have a relationship with Jesus. Adventism became a structure of programs and activities instead of discipling and relationship based.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has helped me widen my perspective in many areas of life, teaching me the value of humility, just as Jesus showed. It has encouraged me to practice compassion towards others and reminded me of the importance of living out His greatest commission.

As a 23-year-old volunteer Adventist young professional, I think the church and AY program could be more relevant by offering practical workshops on managing work, dealing with stress, and balancing faith with our careers. It would be great to have opportunities to connect with others in similar situations and get mentorship. I’d love to see more focus on how our careers can actually be a part of our ministry, helping us feel more empowered to serve while we work.

I think there's too much delegation of responsibilities. Usually (maybe only here. I have a busy line of work so I find it hard to keep on going to church the whole day knowing that I will have my duty tomorrow.

For me it’s the daily devotionals before going to work and providing a better program on how to incorporate work and worship.

By providing good and quality topics on how to deal with work efficiently and to provide topics that will help us young professionals be more close to God.

I think the topics in the AY are more focused in youth and for me, I would like it to be more flexible and also consider us, the young adults.

The unity of church members must be establish first. Majority of the church members are not attending AY because they are thinking that AY is for youth but it also includes the adult as they are the youth's example on how to strengthening the faith and the bond of all church members. As long as the adults are supporting the youth on what are the programs that will execute and the youth will also support the programs that adults would want to implement,there will be unity.

Sometimes the AY programs are too boring. There's no discussion and the adults are not attending also. In addition, adults and youth creates barrier in terms of supporting programs.

I honestly don't rely on church programs or activities. My challenge is more on sustaining my personal devotion. Making for personal devotion.

Provided meaningful and intentional programs. Like: 1. Devotionals for Professionals-Create or share devotionals that address workplace challenges and inspire faith in daily tasks. 2. Entrepreneurship Support- Provide training and resources for starting and running businesses aligned with Christian values. 3. Mindfulness and Prayer Sessions- Offer programs focused on stress relief, such as guided prayer, meditation, or wellness workshops. 4. Financial Literacy Programs- Teach budgeting, investing, and tithing based on biblical principles.

The afternoon service maybe led by the young people, but it just follows the typical 'service/worship pattern'. In short, it's kinda the being 'compliant-to-finish-the-service' type. Not much of catering to the needs of the young people.

New place and new environment and new baby make it really hard to adjust. It took me 1 year to find a home church were I feel home and be able to participate again.

Career assessment program. Job Counseling. Finding business owners in the church that would be willing to train new graduates. Make a bulletin board were you can advertise job hiring.

Being there is enough. Supporting by just showing up is enough.

For me AY program should be lead by the adult and not the youth...how dare we expect them to lead if theres nobody leading them. It should be a place were they can safely say there thoughts and plans while the adults coucils them on how to do it in a safe environment.

Sometimes, I wonder if my lack of devotion to God is the reason why my plans keep failing. There are moments when I even find myself wondering if doing the wrong thing would have led to success.

For me, the messages in our church are too focused on the Second Coming, and it sometimes scares me. It gives me anxiety and makes me panic, so when the message is about this topic, I avoid listening to prevent feeling anxious.

The AY program these days is too boring. There are no engaging or meaningful activities, and no networking opportunities or mentorship is provided. They only conduct the program out of respect for the Sabbath, and once again, the youth attendance is very low.

But as to my spiritual journey, I think people should know nga if we really think it deeply and if we really understand God (His love, grace and mercy), it is not a race. Naay uban ganahan nga visible, naay uban nga gusto nila pa secreto ra. I’m happy with what I have and with the church programs. Spiritually, the church meets my needs. Professionally, I keep my faith in my work, applying the principles the church teaches, but I don’t introduce or share details of my professional life with the church. When it comes to the Sabbath or church service, I prefer to remain a private and reserved person. For personal growth, I pray with others and join activities like the 777 prayers to draw closer to God. I don’t believe in separating by age, profession, or social status. If the goal is to create separate programs for young professionals, I don’t see the point. I have nothing more to add.

In my opinion, the research instrument you used is not effective in addressing the main issue here. The problem is not with young professionals; rather, it lies in their personal relationship with God and how they engage in fellowship with other believers. There is nothing wrong with the AY program itself; we are a diverse church. Do you need proof that the program is not working based on your perspective? How would you suggest we run the program? Instead of conducting a vague survey, it would be more constructive to present a proposal, especially since you are leading from the backend. All of the church programs remain relevant. We gather to worship, not to network or compare professions during each service.

For now as missionary i can't figure it out coz Im feeling happy doing the ministry.

Revamp the way the AY is handled. It’s not just camping, playing and fun. Something that offers value in life! The programs are too immature that laughing with them is extremely awkward. And let the Union/ Conference directors sit and listen to outside views. They shouldn’t silence those with divergent views, rather accommodate and let them be heard. And if they find it useful, change the set up. Most of them settle for STATUS QUO.

AY should have more outreach programs and valuable enriching programs for YP. Outreach gives us sense of community value, while enriching programs strengthen our faith despite being in the “outside world”. They could also empower us by giving us some youths to handle. I’ve seen active youth abroad and to my curiosity I asked what they are. They said they’re young nurses, medtech, Doctors and other med professionals trained as AOY. They handle other youth and found fulfillment in guiding the younger generations. It gives them the sense of responsibility to keep themselves closer to God because they are leading other youths. It’s like each of them handle 5-7 youth each pair. I dunno much but it was good. Also, I hope they go away with the “concert” in the afternoon where singers showcase their talent in a worldly way. I have felt God in a Baptist congregation than in that church. They are for show off—feeling celebrities. They don’t go around shaking hands of people. Totally different from what I attended in a Baptist community. There is a sense of belongingness RIGHT AWAY. In our Church, so bland.

The programs are the SAME PROGRAM back when I was young with no sense of excitement and innovation. My previous church in Manila is way better than here—so cold, so boring, so superficial.

Their resource speakers are from the same institution. I mean working in the Conference and Union who HAVE NO GENUINE IDEA of what’s going on in the outside “world”. They are TOO CAREFUL inviting speakers from diverse backgrounds to offer valuable content. It’s a pseudo valuable lessons that offer nothing but “talk”.

Lack of social group that thirst and hunger for righteousness. I think it is best if we are surrounded with people who loves and desires to be like Jesus. Not the ones who chase after the world. Sadly, I don't have that environment outside church. I have a weak spirit and I easily get influenced by others. At the end of the day I am still a perfectly imperfect individual who needs Jesus more and more. It disappointing that I am stuck in life, in terms of contributing to the mission to lead souls to Jesus' feet. Please pray for me.

I think, we need unity in Christ. We are supposed to be one yet we are so divided. In my point of view, members from other SDA churches are strangers. There's no close ties and brotherly love, specially if you are from a poor church, poor in number, in influence and in finances. The truth is, our small church feels alienated from other churches.

It does not help me grow spiritually. The program is too traditional. Perhaps, it is because we are a very small church. Only very few stay every Sabbath afternoon. 5 adults on Sabbath and 5 children per week in average. We don't do outreach programs. Basically, we just stay in church during Sabbath afternoon and follow the usual program. Our church is not growing. Please pray for our church and for every member. As time goes by, we become lesser in number. But it has been my prayer that there will be revival and spiritual growth in the church.

Hypocrisy. Well, as I am trying to use my brain cells, to give logical and rational reasoning. Nowadays, I find it hard to believe the words that was spoken since its somehow in favor to the speaker, like a one sided story.

Despite the deficiencies in the church, I still believe that as Adventists we must not rely our faith on others apart from God, not even on the church itself. It depends on how we take circumstances. regardless of the current state of our AY Programs today, by God's grace, I strive to stand firm in faith. I am constantly striving to hear Him, His guidance, His promises and His will.

As what I observe today, people are becoming more and more heinous. I hope that not just the professionals but every Adventist member would take the call seriously. I just understood yesterday of how great our mission is in spreading the gospel. The harvest is indeed plentiful but the laborers are so few. I foresee that we need to conduct seminars or sermons focusing on "answering the call" or "evangelism". This, I understood is the purpose why we are here. I hope soon, I can finally answer His call too.

The AMICUS Family helped me a lot. I don't know how exactly. I guess I am inspired if I go out and visit churches, and have fellowship with other members in other churches. Friendship and Unity it is.

I strongly believe that the service in the afternoon is still a Sabbath. With this, the sanctity and devotion should be equal to the morning worship. Coz the God we worship in the morning is not the little God we worship in the afternoon. For me, the saddest part is the attendance. Since the attendees are just so few, we could not create a full program. Sometimes we will just review the lesson and somewhat make a worship. This is what makes me so sad.

These are the topics that I think could better support young professionals: Mental Health Support: Creating safe spaces to discuss mental health and its intersection with faith, career, and relationships. Navigating Singleness and Marriage: Honest conversations about finding a life partner, building healthy relationships, and maintaining God-centered marriages. Mentorship Programs: Pairing young professionals with experienced Adventists in similar fields for guidance and encouragement.

These are my suggestions: Networking Opportunities: Events where Adventist professionals across industries can connect, mentor each other, and share career advice from a faith perspective. Skill Development: Workshops on leadership, public speaking, financial stewardship, and time management—all framed through biblical principles. Relationship Support: Discussions and retreats focused on singleness, dating, marriage, and family, addressing every young professional's desire for a blissful married life with biblical guidance.

Implement interactive formats in AY programs and promote intentional inclusion by tailoring programs to meet the diverse needs of young professionals, including single adults, married couples, and those navigating unique challenges, while actively involving them as participants in every AY program.

I have this habit of mine whe I was in college in SPAC that my group of friends (Theologians) would have a little program in our boarding house and then discuss current theological issues in the church, then through the bible, pen of inspiration we discussed it together. But when I have graduated and work. I have missed that and I struggle to go back to my church in my town because I crave that sense of belongingness together with my group discussing avout Jesus, theology and etc.

Honestly, I'm not comfortable of the way the new generation of AY Leaders manage the program, as a theologian I don't like bible games and etc. I crave deepening of spiritual growth like seminar, theological discussions that can contribute greatly to my spiritual life. IDK as for me, whatever they do, I'm into it. I don't think much about myself being cared for, I am more concerned on how can I be a part or be used by God to others who are drifting and deceived. Not the discouraged ones, but the ones who are active but not aware.

I think the church should host/initiate career driven activities/skills. One of the most challenging issues faced by young professionals right now, especially those who are still starting their career, is the Sabbath schedule. Aside from lectures/sermons on how should we, SDA's stand on our faith esp on the talks about Sabbath, we should have a proper venue/ or whatever it is to tackle and to listen the difficulties of these young professionals on their struggles on Sabbath keeping while trying to build their career. Our problem nowadays, we easily roll eyes on those who choose their career over Sabbath keeping, without even trying to offer sympathy.

I think the church should step back from its routine formal programs. Use data and make the church a foster home for relationship building.

A.Y. Program is more focused on teens. It's more of a routine and a "basta nalang" naka-AY. And it's true that it rarely caters or initiates programs that will boost engagement for young professionals like us, and maybe because we lack resources and ideas on how to make A.Y. interesting and engaging for our age bracket.

Retreats, adventure trips, or local meet-ups to foster deeper connections to enhance spiritual health. Skill-based volunteering, mission trips designed for busy professionals with flexible schedules.

Offer programs that connect biblical principles to everyday struggles, like managing stress, navigating relationships, or handling ethical dilemmas at work.

Organize programs where young professionals can connect, collaborate, and support each other in their careers and spiritual journeys.

For me, when a young person transitions into a young adult or young professional, they can no longer keep up with the vibe of the youth. They may even lose interest in things like action songs because they see them as 'badoy' or childish. I’ve even thought, 'Ako ramay tiguwang/professional diri.' Personally, I’ve experienced this and took time to reflect. Was it really the program, songs, or activities that made me uninterested? Or was it my heart filled with pride? So, I started engaging with the youth, participating in their singspirations, and getting involved in the program. I took on a leadership role. By doing so, we can better face the challenges of being a young adult.

We can create programs that showcase our professions, our work, and our purpose. By doing so, we inspire the youth to pursue their own dreams and help them realize that they too can achieve their goals.

Make More programs involving the young adults. Syempre, Personal Devotion is the best. All members in the church faces different challenges. Magtinabangay ta.

Elect a Young professional as a Youth Director to guide the AY leaders regarding the AY programs.

The challenge is to conduct how to make effective public speaking

In ministry and to conduct public speaking

Maybe it's about to volunteer or to become a missionary

Maybe in there time because many have youth have nothing to do in mission
